Personal Counselling

Christine Peach MBACP (Accred)

Dip. Integrative Counselling.

Life is not always easy and can bring times of profound unhappiness, loss or anxiety and taking the decision to begin therapy can feel like a daunting task. However, counselling provides a protected space where you can work through these experiences with a trained professional in strict confidence and without being judged. As an Integrative therapist, I draw on the knowledge and skills from various approaches and, based on your individual circumstances, adopt these to provide the most effective and personalized therapy for your needs. My work is underpinned with the belief that we all have the capacity to be in control of ourselves and our choices. And, by better understanding ourselves we are better equipped to acknowledge our past, recognize how this impacts on the present and ultimately begin to move forward.

I am a professionally qualified practitioner with experience working with teenagers, young people and adults and have experience in working with both Heads Together and MIND. My qualifications include a BSc in Psychology (Honours), Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, hold enhanced disclosure clearing to work with children and am an accredited member of the BACP.  As such, I am committed to providing high standards of ethical and moral practice in a safe environment which means I  work with integrity, confidentiality and put you at the centre of all my work.

My approach is integrative which means I tailor the way I work to suit you personally and, in turn,  allow you to make the positive changes in your life.  I can work with you individually or with your family to help understand the issues that you are facing and to find a way to work through them. I understand this is a difficult step to take and offer a free no-obligation initial consultation to find out if this is the help and support you need without having to feel committed and without fear of judgement or criticism.

Taking this first step:
A free no-obligation 15 minute consultation: this will allow us to discuss your issues and find out how I can help and if you feel I am the right person for you.

Should you wish to proceed we can work on a long or short term basis. We can review progress to make sure we keep on track to achieve your goals and to consider any other issues that may become apparent during that time.

Fees are £60 per 50 minute session - day and evening times available (Monday - Friday)

I have a limited number of reduced fee places that I can offer.
